Stayed here for almost a full week in October. It was a great experience, the rooms were clean and updated. The location was also great! Only 35 mins away from the Keys. If you're looking for an affordable, historic, and cute place to stay in South Florida, I'd highly recommend this place!
Clean and spacious. An old building with old building quirks: hot water lacking, a slow-draining sink. A very teeny, tiny TV. But overall, it was a great experience. Christine greeted us shortly after arrival... She's great. She gave us the WiFi password, took care to provide clean towels, and touched base throughout our stay to make sure we were happy. This is an older historical hotel! It’s not fancy but the service ( Christine) was awesome! We felt cared for and important as guests in Homestead.
Ever since Lynda Bell, former Homestead Mayor and County Commissioner, restored this place, it has been improving with every year. Now... it's a sushi restaurant! And it's top of the line! Plus... they actually serve a reasonable amount of hot Saki not those little jars. Wonderful.
My husband and I recently stayed here for a couple of nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The sushi was amazing and the sake menu was broad. Nacy and Rolly (owners) are hard working and community oriented. We'll be back!
Traveled with a friend who needed the handicapped handicapped room. We were greeted on our arrival by the welcoming and pleasant house keeper . Room was lovely , definitely enjoyed our stay. Didn't get a chance to check out the restaurant, but heard good things about it. Hope to visit again.
Wonderful place to stay. Cozy, extremely clean rooms, nice spots to sit outside. Housekeeping was absolutely top notch, very welcoming and friendly. Christine is the absolute best! Very comfortable bed and pillows. Highly recommend this hotel.
Walkable to movies and food. Nice folks and good rooms. A few rooms open up ta shared patio. Nothing fancy but nice to enjoy my coffee outside.
